We have looked for a black buck worthy of our breeding for 3 years. I knew Coy Stovall in Gainesville, TX had raised some of the best in the industry.

We emailed back and forth for several years, he would send me pictures of new black bucks. He sent me pictures of what he considered one of his BEST and we decided to make a trip to Texas. Coy and Sandy are great people and welcomed us in their home. Coy and I believe we are distant kin, we have a lot in common. Coy also offered us his 5 year old 400 lb dark red buck SCS TAURUS and we had to bring him home also.

REDCREEK'S RAWHIDE is our senior herd sire. We made a trip in July 2004 to Goldthwaite, Texas to see Huntis and Cindy Black. We purchased a RED, Full SA, Full CODI/PCI buck. We named him Red Creek's Rawhide. Thanks a lot to Huntis and Cindy for allowing us to purchase such a fine animal. Rawhide is thick, long and full of muscle. He throws this to his kids and produces allot of color and about 80% does. If you are interested in breeding to a buck that throws color, length and muscle RAWHIDE is what you are looking for. Our son in law, Brian Estep, bought Whiz Kid from Tommy Cooley when he was about 6 months old. Brian showed Whiz Kid and grew him into a fine buck.
Brian honored us by offering us joint ownership and we jumped at the chance to add such a fine buck to our breeding program. We look forward to kids from him and showing him in the local shows.

Neon got his name because he is colored as loud as any Texas neon sign. We have been looking for a buck worthy to join our herd and further enhance our breed character and butts. We have found that buck in Neon. Color Code is from a straight CODI/PCI pedigree. Linebred to the excellent W.H.Vorster buck "914/86". Eight of the ten animals showing in his pedigree are original Codi/Pci import animals....the other two are daughters of these eight. Outstanding conformation and breed character with a perfect bite.
